With its 25-foot high ceiling and 25-foot wide arched window looking onto our cloister garden, the social lobby’s custom-designed William Alan furniture and authentic British joint stools take us back to the 1920’s and 30’s - the era of Dorothy Parker and her favorite spot, the lobby of New York’s Algonquin Hotel. The grand piano and the custom Bose sound system fill this William Morris, early British Arts and Crafts inspired room, with the appropriate acoustic ambiance. Enjoy Afternoon Tea in the lobby.
