Green Valley Grill
Informally Elegant, Zestful Dining

Enjoy fresh seasonal food using old-world European culinary sensibilities at Green Valley Grill, connected to the O.Henry Hotel. It's a favorite of Greensboro residents and visitors alike.

Green Valley Grill features three settings. Dine inside our Main Dining Room, with its 30-foot high ceiling. For its design, we imagined that we had discovered a 19th century Tuscan Revival building and turned it into a dining room. A huge arched entrance to the kitchen, reminiscent of a hearth, dominates the room. A 22-foot wide, semi-circular, still-life mural that was inspired by a 17th century Dutch painting tops the arch.

Next to the main dining room is a smaller room called the Copper Dining Room. This sleek room features tapestry-hung, copper-finished walls and a floor to ceiling window overlooking lush landscaping.

The Bar is wonderful in its simplicity: one long wall of windows, a curved granite bar with copper base, and a variety of seating options. The effect is sleek and stylish. The overall look is enhanced by the romantic touch of being candlelight that illuminates the bar at night.

Enjoy the outdoors in our Courtyard, an intimate, outdoor room, inspired by the hidden urban gardens found throughout Europe. Umbrellas and chanticleer pear trees create a great spot for alfresco lunch meetings, leisurely dinners, or late night snacks. Our full menu is available on our courtyard until our lighter “late night” menu is served.

The Green Valley Grill is adjacent to the hotel and connected via an interior hallway. It also has a separate outdoor entrance and parking area.

Wine
Winner of the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence each year, the wine list at the Green Valley Grill features many wines by the glass. See the current wine list.

Breakfast
A complimentary full, hot Southern style breakfast buffet is served in our pavilion each morning. Enjoy a breakfast with homemade biscuits, sausage and gravy, stone ground grits from the Old Mill of Guilford, or opt for the lighter fare of delightful homemade breads, pastries, assorted fruits, cereal and yogurt – there is something for all tastes.
Breakfast hours:
Monday through Friday 6:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
Saturday and Sunday 7:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.

In-Room Dining

In-room dining hours are:
Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–midnight, Saturday, 7:00 a.m.–midnight,
Sunday, 7:00 a.m.–11:00 p.m.

The O.Henry Hotel Afternoon Tea
Each afternoon from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m., our afternoon tea is served in our social lobby. See our afternoon tea menu.

Lobby Cocktails
Each evening cocktails are available in our social lobby.
The hours of service are from 5:00 p.m. to midnight Monday through Saturday and from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Sunday.
