Our central Greensboro setting is a great location for a storybook wedding or other celebrations. The distinctive design of our boutique hotel includes several options for lunches and dinners or parties and ceremonies.

The Green Valley Grill, adjacent to the hotel, is known for preparing the freshest and best available local foods with an old-world, European regional flair. Wedding events at the hotel are catered by the Green Valley Grill, using the same innovation and care found in the restaurant. Menus are specially designed for your celebration, so your guests will enjoy an unforgettable feast. Mingle in the Grand Lobby
As with the great hotels at the beginning of the 20th century, the Social Lobby is the heart of the O.Henry. It is a place your guests will enter and mingle before and after your celebration. You will find our social lobby both grand and irresistibly inviting. With its 25-foot high ceiling and 25-foot wide arched window looking onto our cloister garden, the social lobby’s setting takes us back to the 1920’s and 30’s. The grand piano and the custom Bose sound system fill the William Morris, early British Arts and Crafts inspired room, with the appropriate acoustic ambiance.

Whether it’s in the grand Social Lobby or outside in the picturesque Cloister Garden, there are many settings for beautiful wedding photographs. Reserve our Bridal Portrait Package to capture the memories of your special day. Take your photo in a London Taxi!
Bridal Portrait Package
Includes a suite to relax and prepare for that perfect picture in one of our beautiful locations in and around the hotel. Walk into your luxurious suite and enjoy a glass of champagne from the bottle that will be waiting in the room before the photo session begins. Once the perfect shot is completed, return to your room for in room dining or have lunch or dinner in Green Valley Grill with the $50 certificate that you received upon check in. Take your time and enjoy the room for the next four hours. $175 plus tax. Ask about our special pricing with events at the hotel.

Couples who want to make their Greensboro wedding night extra special by staying overnight may choose from several packages, all of which come with two quarter bottles of champagne on ice.
Deluxe Turn-Down Service: We’ll dim the lights, close the curtains, turn down the bed, freshen the room and provide romantic music to set the mood.
Breakfast In Bed: Wake up to a breakfast tray loaded with croissants, fresh fruits and berries, breads, butter and jam, chocolates, coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice.
Late Night Snack: Stay up late with a platter of assorted fruits, cheeses and other finger foods.
Group Weekend Room Rates: Discounted room rates are available for ten or more rooms on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights so all your friends and family will be near.
Room Rental: What is included?
Your room rental includes guest seating, cake table, gift table, floor length house linen and white overlay, votive candles (during evening events), china, glassware, serving utensils, dance floor, stage, O. Henry floral arrangements, room set-up and clean-up. Rooms are available 10 am-4 pm and 6 pm until midnight unless otherwise noted.
